Alhamrani Universal Company (AU) is a leading Integrated Technology Solutions provider to the banking industry in Saudi Arabia.

It is the exclusive distributor of the Diebold and Hypercom brands for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and provides total integrated technology solutions for the electronic self-service banking and payment systems, as well as security solutions (CCTV, access control, biometrics). Highly trained and certified personnel also offer excellent after sales service and support for all products.

AU was also the driving force behind the plans for the introduction of a regional switching system, which preceded the currently adopted international system.

Alhamrani Universal Company (AU) was established as the vehicle for AU hi-tech interests in 1981 when substantial Group resources were deployed to reassess the impact of innovative technologies on commerce and everyday living. As long-term business opportunities were identified, creative strategies were applied with considerable emphasis on Electronic Banking Solutions and Services initially across the Kingdom and later throughout the Gulf region.

AU is the exclusive and sole distributor of Diebold ATMs and Diebold Physical & Electronic Security Products & is the largest distributor for Diebold. Diebold today is a world leader in card - based, self-service transaction systems, security products and customer service. AU further established its services portfolio when it set up the only Diebold certified Depot Repair Center in the Gulf, allowing it to service its own needs as well as serve other Diebold customers in the region.

AU offers the most advanced self-service devices, from Diebold that offer proven reliability, flexibility, upgradeability and low lifecycle costs. AU has built up and maintained the largest share of the ATM market by providing self-service solutions with exceptional quality and building the most comprehensive service infrastructure including 28 service centres, service centers all over KSA with more than 200 engineers and specialists.

To further expand our solutions offering, AU obtained the distributorship of Hypercom point of sale (POS) and Network Solution. Currently more than four million businesses worldwide rely on this sophisticated easy to use and highly reliable equipment to run their daily operations, making Hypercom by far the global leader in electronic payment solutions that add value at the point-of sale for consumers, merchants and acquirers.

AU has also diversified its product portfolio to include other complementing products/services for the EFT market like the Bill Payment solution and Card Management Solutions from Bellid. AU also partnered with Zafin Labs to provide a complete software solution for revenue recognition, generation, assurance for the Financial Service Providers. AU security solutions portfolio was reinforced through working together with leading industry players offering a range of CCTV, Digital Video Recorders, Access Control, Fire and Burglar Alarm Systems, Vault Doors, Safes, Safe Deposit Boxes, Vacuum Air Transfer (Point to Point) Systems etc.

AU recently partnered with Privaris which has designed and developed a family of key-fob sized, personal, mobile devices that authenticate an individual's identity before interacting with their existing security systems used for granting access to buildings, offices, and garages (physical security), and computers, networks, and websites (logical security), as well as with the latest "wave and pay" contactless point-of-sale terminals for biometrically authenticated credit card transactions.

In its role as the Kingdom's pioneering electronic payment solutions vendor, AU offers consultancy services for electronic banking, marketing strategies, customization, installation and integration.
